With a small window of time before opening Midtown 24 to tenants and residents, Tammy Britton was in a tough position. As Vice President of Operations and Marketing for American Land Ventures, the company that manages Midtown 24, Britton hired a company to carry the weight of creating and installing signage for Midtown 24. Since Midtown 24 was going to be Plantation, Florida’s only high-rise rental community, the signage had to reflect the elegance and character of the property.
Unfortunately, after Britton saw the first round of signs, she wasn’t satisfied. She needed another sign company, and a coworker discovered Davie SIGNARAMA.
A Call Away
After one phone call, Gina Leggiere, Owner of Davie SIGNARAMA, was on-site that day. Britton told Leggiere about Midtown 24’s 236 apartments, amenities such as Liquid Courage (martini-karaoke bar), Xcape (arcade), and Burn 24 (24-hour fitness center with complementary access to a fitness pro and weekend boot camps). She also informed Leggiere of the 16 retail spaces that house a body-waxing salon, a hair salon, and more. Leggiere took it in, headed back to the shop, and got her team on the project.
Shortly after, the SIGNARAMA team began installing gorgeous signage all over Midtown 24. Now, large etched glass signs hang in the lobby to display floor plans, 7-foot tall window wraps invite vendors to consider retail space beneath the apartments, Burn 24 and the facility’s pool have quality signage, and outdoor signage makes it clear where future residents will park. And when Britton didn’t like the size of a couple of signs, SIGNARAMA replaced them.
“When a couple signs were up, they were a little too large or small for the space,” Britton says. “Gina was so passionate about making sure I was happy that she scrapped the originals and provided new signs that better fit the space—at no cost to me.”
Matching the Quality
With such gorgeous spaces and luxurious amenities, you may think signs don’t have much impact at Midtown 24. Think again.
“Signs are the first thing customers see,” Britton says. “You can’t have low-quality signage in a luxurious high-rise apartment community. From vibrant color to the finish on the product to installation, it all has to be top-notch. Davie SIGNARAMA made sure all our signs were aligned with the quality Midtown 24 exudes. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have used them after the first sign.”
