Time to Start Planning

Amplification, Inc. is thrilled to be working with social media legend The Dude Dean on some upcoming projects. Dean's got a full social media calendar schedule, and he recently shared some of his don't-miss events with the Club Cabeza family.

New Tech Community Three-Year Anniversary
September 20, 2012 is the three-year anniversary party for the New Tech Community. Not familiar with the New Tech Community? If you are a web developer, web marketer, social media user, accessibility expert, production artist, content writer, web producer, small business owner or are hoping to be any of these, the New Tech Community is here for you. The Community holds monthly educational meetings that are free of charge and give you an in-person method to expand your social media network while learning what you need to succeed from people who have.

The Anniversary Party will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at a location in Boca Raton to be announced soon. The free tickets are still available via EventBrite. Click here to check it out and find out information. The event starts with a networking program, so bring your business cards and get ready to get social.

Are You Ready for Some Kickball?
Techies and sports may not always go together, but all bets are off when it comes to kickball. Recently The Dude Dean and other South Florida tech legends got together to leave it all out on the field. (It's also where The Dude Dean spotted this social media tramp stamp.) The kickball field, that is. In August, teams from Broward, Miami-Dade and West Palm Beach played on the kickball field of battle. If you are interested in being a part of the re-match, visit the Broward Facebook group and ask one of the members pretty-please. No professional kickball experience required.

Environmentally Friendly + Building Projects = EcoCentric

EcoCentric is an environmentally friendly contracting company operating in South Florida and The Keys. Their ever-growing and thriving business is going full-steam in September. Some of the projects the company is working on include being in the final clean-up and punch-out stages of the H & M retail job at Aventura Mall, in Aventura, Fla. Click here for a video detailing some of the eco-friendly construction conservation measures EcoCentric was able to take on this project.

EcoCentric also is 50 percent complete on a phased demolition project for the Saks 5th Avenue at Bal Harbour Mall. Another challenging project is the phased demolition for the Pottery Barn in Boca Raton. The store will remain open during the process, and EcoCentric is already 20 percent complete on this job.

Other new projects in the works include the Churro Mania kiosk demolition at a Walmart in Broward County.
