HOW FLIP OUTS CAME ABOUT:
Flip Out Sandals are the brainchild of Advertising Agency owners Cheryl Hamersmith-Stewart and Tracey Hunter of Hunter, Hamersmith and Associates located in Miami, Florida. For years, the high profile agency has been designing creative campaigns for internationally acclaimed clients such as Sandals Resorts. Ironically, they have now created a line of Sandals of their own. The Flip Out Sandals were conceived out of a necessity that grew out of their many on-island photo shoots. For years, they would take destination photos with models and Bride’s walking in sand in high heels. Nothing seemed more out of place to them. They felt they could benefit from something comfortable that wouldn't sink into the sand or the soft Earth. A simple flip flop just wouldn’t do. This needed to be a dazzling Sandal that complemented the natural beauty of their surroundings. So the beginnings of Flip Out Sandals were born.
